Digital Defense Group (DDG) was founded in 2003 as a developer of integrated biometric identification devices that incorporate fingerprint, RFID, and an on-board operating and file system. The company is a leader in the emerging market of convergence technologies, which combines logical and building access in a single solution. DDG offers a full suite of computer and network access software and two secure biometric devices, each in the form of a credit card. DDG’s initial products, the Factor4 biocard and the IronGate biocard, are wireless communication devices (RFID) with the ability to transmit stored data under industry standard protocols, allowing individual identity authentication before interacting with existing physical and logical security systems. In addition, the IronGate biocard features proprietary technology that increases its transmission up to 35 feet. This platform has the ability to enroll fingerprints on-card and perform a 1:1 authentication without the need for a centralized database or any other computer assisted software. This patent-pending technology incorporates the most advanced operating and files system in the world and provides the highest level of security and biometric privacy ever offered. Digital Defense offers a complete suite of software and hardware solution for building and network identity access. The value proposition for the client is that one, flexible, highly secure, and easy-to-use device speaks to many applications within the same organization and no other user can use the credential without a fingerprint on device authentication. No longer will employees have two, three cards or FOBs on a lanyard; all user identities access levels can be transmitted from a single device biometrically secured. |
