Instead of typing a user name and password, Watchdog Enterprise allows users to log on to their workstations, commonly accessed programs, and websites with their Factor4™ biocard, a biometrically secured RFID smartcard.
Windows Network Log-on
- Create multiple log-on profiles to access various networks
- Password synchronization
- Initiate programs such as email after valid authentication
- Remote access: cache credentials to operate in laptop mode
- No changes to existing network infrastructure required
- Easily deployable to clients using SMS, Group policy, or other deployment software
Single Sign-On
- Websites and applications
- Easy-to-use record functionality
- Pre-configured website and application log-ons
- Auto-fill log-on information when launching applications
- Log-on information stored on card or on server
User Self-enrollment
- Upon first use, the cardholder presents card to reader and is prompted to enter identification information such as network user name/password, employee ID number, address, etc. The card is then registered with the server and issued with no administrator interaction.
- End users who lose a card can re-enroll a replacement themselves (if permitted) using their access profile stored on the server.
Card Management
- Employee data can be imported from HR databases or Active Directory.
- Administrators can manage profiles using groups such as Managers, Engineers, Sales, etc.
- Administrators control which employees are allowed to self-enroll or self-re-enroll.
- Cards can be easily recycled (contents cleared and card license made available), should an employee leave.
Security
- On-card data is protected by 3DES encryption.
- Client-server communication is encrypted to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks.
- Card-to-PC communications (wireless) are encrypted to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks.
- Data can be stored on the card if log-on information cannot be transmitted over the network.
- All software and data on the card are destroyed if physical tampering is detected.
