It enables anyone looking to leverage the power of biometrics to secure confidential data stored on their networks. Watchdog™ SGL replaces the standard Windows logon screen. Once an Active Directory username and password has been programmed into the employees Factor4® biocard, the user simply presents their Factor4® biocard to log on instead of typing in a username and password. Employees no longer have to memorize a password, so very long and complex passwords can be used, providing unsurpassed security. Watchdog™ SGL provides the highest level of biometric security in a simple-to-use, easy to install package. Watchdog™ Enterprise If you need to manage many different groups of users, need to control user credentials remotely, or want a solution that offers something beyond access to the PC, then Watchdog™ Enterprise is for you. Administrators can manage user credentials from a central server, making it easy to manage many workstations, both off-site and locally. Features such as remote credential management, employee self enrollment, and the ability to automatically synchronize Windows password changes with Active Directory avoid heaping unnecessary tasks onto network administrators. Watchdog™ Enterprise features a single-sign-on component that extends the capabilities of Watchdog™ SGL. At logon, an employee simply presents a Factor4® biocard to a reader and places a finger on the biocard’s sensor. If the employee’s fingerprint matches the fingerprint stored on the biocard, the employee’s credentials are read from the Factor4® and access is granted to the PC, programs, and websites. Single-sign-on allows employees to automatically populate user name and passwords into frequently used websites and programs when they log onto their PC. With Watchdog™ Enterprise, administrators can configure batches of employee templates before sending biocards out to employees. Once employees receive their Factor4® biocards, they can self-enroll without the need for any of the network administrators’ valuable time.
